It is not true in the case of the new pub called For What It's Worth. This place gets a majority of locals since I have been stopping in, and it is usually a younger crowd with the place getting packed later on when the live music starts to kick in. The Happy Hour crowds can be a bit sparse at times, but I don't see why really. All the booze comes at a good price especially the $2 house liquor. The menu just got revamped, with a new cook that serves all day breakfast, so that's another reason you should check this place out. For What It's Worth has been one of my favorite places since it has opened a few years ago and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a new place to hang out.
