Thirsty Turtle, Shaggies, Tee'd Off, Zulu Lounge... These are just a couple of the places that have tried to open up in a space in the Galleria section of Restaurant Row. Some have had varying levels of success, but for different reasons none have stuck around in the long run. Whiskey Beach Bar & Grill is the next up to try to find some traction in this location. Early results have been very positive as it has been a popular spot for locals who are into the country music & beach music scene. The Carolina Breakers are usually the house band and they have a pretty good following as well. The Happy Hour is pretty good to with it having that one extended hour going until 8pm. The prices and specials on food and drinks are all very reasonable. With solid backing and ownership that has been in the business for a long time; Whiskey Beach seems like it is going to be around for a while in a places where others have struggled in the long run.
