Review

There is a wide variety of restaurants along Hwy 17 Business in Murrells Inlet, but there was never a good pizza/Italian restaurant. That has recently changed with the addition of Uncle Mikey's Brick Oven Pizza that was formerly the 19th Hole Bar & Grill. The space has been renovated and has a large dining room area in one section while the bar area has been modified  as it is adjacent to the brand new kitchen. Where Uncle Mikey's really excels is with the food having an overall solid menu while also making some very good pizza pies. Happy Hour is minimal with 50 cents off on alcohol, but it is better than not having a discount at all. Murrells Inlet has its fair share of seafood places and rightfully so, but Uncle Mikey's Brick Oven Pizza provides a nice change of pace to the area.
