If you are familiar with the area, you'll know that there are several Ultimate California Pizza locations along the Grand Strand which all provide a pretty good pizza at an ok price. You may also be familiar with the giant location in The Galleria that used to be Umi's, Southern Market, and way back a Chuck E Cheese. Well ironically enough that spot is going back to it's Chuck E Cheese roots and combining it with with a UCP for a family fun zone. I was surprised to see that they did have a Happy Hour so i knew I had to get a review. The bar and patio area since Umi's hasn't changed much with its design and is a bit secluded from all the games and craziness, that's not to say you still can't hear it in the background. The drink specials are nice with fair prices across the board, but there are no food specials which is no fun especially since it would be easy to do a slice special. The UCP Game Zone is a nice new spot to take the kids and let them run around and spend all your money on skee-ball for a bit, but if you're there during Happy Hour it provides a nice option to slip away for a second and grab a quick cheap drink. (as long as you're not watching the kids by yourself of course)
