It used to be an old Chinese Buffet, and some of those elements still exist within the bar. The former owners of Harry the Hats have made a good transition into a nice new sports bar. The prices are all very good, with either the drink or food all coming at a reasonable price. If you are a fan of Blue Moon you can get it for just 2 bucks during Happy Hour, whereas other places will charge you the same as an import. I am a fan of the menu as it is loaded with different options and although a lot may be some of the old staples you will see on most menus, the Turtle seems to just have better tasting food than the norm. The taco Tuesdays are especially popular with each one only coming at 35 cents. The crowds can get a bit on the older side especially on karaoke nights, but there has been a good mix whenever I have stopped in. The Thirsty Turtle is a welcome addition to the many choices you will find along Restaurant Row.
