After living here 5+ years, you don't get surprised too much anymore with any new places you might drive by, since you've gone past them hundreds of times, and when a new sign does go up it usually takes months for a place to finally open. That is why I was shocked to see that the open sign was on at Trupps Grill & Tavern. They had been closed for years, but apparently since Memorial Day they have been open and you get tell with the redone bar and everything else looking new. The bad news is the Happy Hour is very small with only a discount on two items for now, granted that may change in the off season, but I can only go based on what they have at the time. I think Trupps Grill & Tavern is budding with potential and can become a favorite for anyone living or staying in the Lake Arrowhead area.
