I was interested in what they were going to do with the Tommy Bahama Tropical Cafe when I first heard that they were going to build one at the Market Common. I mean one Tommy Bahama shirt costs about 150 bucks, so was a beer going to cost 20 bucks? Well not quite, but the menu is still a bit pricey. What they do have at Tommy Bahama's is a pretty good overall Happy Hour with a large bar and an already established crowd. The discounts are very good at Happy Hour or "Island Time" as they call it there. With the high price tag on the food at least you are getting some quality items on the regular menu and also for Happy Hour. Several of the specialty drinks are discounted at a decent price. Once Happy Hour ends, it's not exactly a bargain's paradise, but since the Market Common doesn't have too many other Happy Hour options, I'd say this is going to be as good of a place as any to try.
