The Beach Cove Resort in North Myrtle Beach has gone through a bunch of renovations. Many of the rooms are being remodeled or upgraded as is the exterior. The amenities inside of the Beach Cove have been completely redone as well with the addition of the Town Center. The Town Center has three phases to it as there is a small arcade with brand new machines and a redemption center which is good for the kids. There is a coffee & breakfast bar for the mornings and right in the center is the spacious Tipsy Turtle Beach Bar. The Tipsy Turtle and the seating area has a large view of the pool area along with an oceanfront view. In the warmer months it is all opened up and provides a great place to relax that a lot of beachgoes do not know about. The food menu is fairly basic, but it hits all of the right points and there is a small Happy Hour menu. The drink deals are ok as there is no glass allowed since it is so close to the pool area, so you can get the tall aluminum bottles for an ok price. If you are looking for a brand new bar with an oceanfront view while trying to avoid the crowds then the Tipsy Turtle is one of your better options.
