I figured this was going to be a hidden bar with a great ocean view. Well little did I know that the Sea Mist covers both sides of the street and Three Steps Down is not on the beach side. Three Steps Down is in the Sea Mist Resort, so obviously it probably will never have a big local following. That's not to say don't go to Three Steps Down, it is just better suited for tourists staying on the south end of Myrtle Beach that want some pretty good food. I am going to have to recommend the ribs as the recipe is the same that was used at the old Sam Snead's Grill. They were very tender and the sauce was great and everything else on the menu is priced well and all looks good. The lacks of drafts and smallish beer selection bumps down the score as does the discounts on the majority of the drinks during Happy Hour.
