I actually went and got a review for Thorny's Steakhouse about three years ago, but for some reason it just got lost in the shuffle and I never ended up posting. Well, upon finding the old review I figured I would have to go back and get an update. Thorny's is a gigantic restaurant that can pack in tons of people during the peak season, but that also means it looks really empty sometimes during the offseason. Off to the side is the bar area and the Happy Hour specials. You get a good discount on all of your drinks with a solid overall selection. A choice of 6 different deep fried items rounds out the Happy Hour menu at a low price of $3.99. Thorny's Steakhouse provides an above average overall place if you're looking for one in the heart of Myrtle Beach.
