It really is a nice place and as the owners and bartenders are very friendly even if you're a regular or not. There are a few pool tables and a couple of TVs, but not nearly enough to make it a great sports bar, but still quite good.  It is a place you can go and just sit back and relax and not worry about any "drama" or incidents throughout your visit. They have a pretty good selection of beers on tap and the specials are ok, but nothing spectacular for Happy Hour. The Barrel is your neighborhood bar and is one of the better spots to either start or stop your night depending on where you're going.
