The Tee Box Tavern is a new bar along Hwy 544 near the Socastee area that already has a decent following due to the fact that it is one of the few places in Socastee that is non-smoking. While the patrons enjoy the smoke free environment they also get to enjoy the quality food that is being put out at some decent prices. Most of the apps and sandwiches are priced in the $6 to $9 dollar range, and you can get some apps for $2 off at Happy Hour making it a better deal. The drink specials are ok with cheap beer to go along with 50 cents off on house liquor. There is now a game room that has been added on with pool tables, darts, along with trivia on Tuesdays. Tee Box Tavern was designed to be a bright new place for people to relax and get a drink and some food in a relaxing environment and so far it has hit those marks quite well.
