I usually like to venture off the beaten paths at times to try to find new bars or restaurants they may have a hidden Happy Hour that I may be missing. Behind all the heavy traffic on Kings Hwy along Kings Rd is a small bar located next to a Pizza Chef. There is a very solid local base that mixes with the tourists from Kongston Plantation and the Hilton. The service is always on point and there is now a covered patio area that is popular in the warmer months. The prices are pretty good and you can get a 50 to 75 cent discount on drinks and a solid Happy Hour food menu. If you want to get away from the calamity that is the traffic along restaurant row then duck down to Kings Rd and check out Spankys Pub House.
