Well, I should come in with low expectations everywhere I go because Shore Thing is actually a pretty nice new spot in Restaurant Row. It's in a location that has housed tons of different things that is right next to Bimini's, so fighting for parking will always be an issue next to that hot tourist spot. Shore Thing boasts plenty of high quality tables with plenty of different league nights and tournaments throughout the week. The menu as you may expect isn't exactly gourmet, but it serves its purpose for a pool hall and you can't argue when the apps are only $3 at Happy Hour. The drink prices overall are fairly decent and during Happy Hour you can shoot pool for 50 cents a pop. If you are a pool player that wants to find a new place to shoot a game and want to avoid some of the dreary places, then easily your best bet is to go to Shore Thing Bar & Billiards.
