I have several restaurants listed on this site that may not have the most gleaming scores, but I would go back to multiple times for other reasons. Russell's Seafood Grill & Raw Bar fits firmly in that category mainly due to the quality of the food and the friendly service you get there. Thought of more as a locals place, Russell's will see its fair share of tourists in Murrells Inlet especially in the busy season. The bar area is small, so you may want to come early to get a seat, but there is a 2nd story patio for when the weather is not too bad. The Happy Hour is minimal at best, but being able to get a domestic bottle for under 2 bucks is still a good deal. I was hoping for a few food specials, but no such luck, the smoked fish dip and she crab soup were quite good though. Russell's Seafood Grill & Raw Bar does not hit the high marks for Happy Hour, but it is one of the better lesser known seafood spots in the Inlet.
