Rudy's Beachside Bar & Cafe may be in a tough location because before it was there it used to be Planks, Spankys, Category 5, and Hal Drakes and that was in a span of about 6 years. I do however, think Rudy's has what it takes to stay around for quite some time as they have made some great improvements on the inside and have done wonders with the "clientele problem they were having, as it could get kind of shady late at night when it was some of those other establishments. A big key for Rudy's is the regular prices which as you can tell are not steep at all. The Happy Hour is fifty cents off which makes the deals on drinks even better. The menu is small for now, but is in a bit of flux as they are seeing what works and what doesn't. You don't find many bars along Ocean Blvd in North Myrtle, so it is a pleasant surprise to find that Rudy's Beachside Bar is a cheap option that is worth going to.
