I'm sorry if any of you out there were a fan of The Whale, but that place seemed really shoddy to me. In it's place is the new Bliss Restaurant and Lounge and it's all of it is part of the brand new Inlet Sports Lodge down in Murrells Inlet. Since I'm the Happy hour guy, I'll focus on the lounge which has a really cool new setting to it with everything redone as well as a fireplace outside. The bar area is not too big, so I can see it getting a bit crowded on busy evenings. The award winning chef boasts a extremely reasonably priced lunch and dinner menu of all high quality selections, the lunch menu is available all night in the lounge area for those looking for lighter fare. The Happy Hour menu has a few things you won't see anywhere else like the Duck Confit Spring Rolls. Prices on drinks are all good as well with some decent prices for Happy Hour. The south strand doesn't have many high end Happy Hours, but Bliss Restaurant is definitely a welcomed addition to that group.
