Review

Myrtle Beach has a bunch of small local bars that not too many people know about and I would put Pop's Place in that category. It has been around for a long time so I am surprised it took me this long to get a review. It is not like it is too hidden as it is not that far set back from Kings Highway. There are two main attractions for Pop's with the first is that it is very cheap. Happy Hour deals are small, but draft beer is only priced at $1.75 normally there is not much further down you can discount. Pop's is also known for its karaoke as it has it every single night of the week. If you are a big fan of karaoke, but want to avoid the more touristy spots then Pop's Place is a great place to go. It can get a bit smoky in there at times as it still allows smoking, so beware if you are not a fan. Other than that Pop's is a cool little local bar that is worth going to if you want to relax and throw back a few cold ones for a very inexpensive price.
