I hope many of you use the Google Map feature because you probably will need it if you have never been to the Pawleys Island Tavern. It is a very locals place because they don't have a sign out on the road right now. You have to look for a fluorescent green mailbox and turn down a dirt path to find the place. I would have to say it is worth discovering as I enjoyed my visit to the Pawleys Island Tavern. The employees and the patrons were all very friendly, which is a far cry from some local places you find in Myrtle Beach. They have an above average selection of bottled beers and the food is probably the main reason I will go back. Unfortunately, the P.I.T. doesn't have any food specials, so that is a bit of a downer, but the crawfish quesadilla is worth it nonetheless. I'm hoping the P.I.T. gets a new sign put up soon because it is a nice little place that everyone should get a chance to check out.
