The Grand Strand is a haven for chains and it was only a matter of time before a Mellow Mushroom made its way into Myrtle Beach. Mellow Mushroom isn't a national chain as there are mostly relegated to the southern US. I didn't know anything about them, so i was surprised to find out they had a bar and that they had quite the large selection of drafts as well. There are a wide array of bottles as well, making this one of the top places to go for beer selection. The food is all very good, as I have eaten there a few times now and have came away happy every time with their pizzas. The recently have added a few items on their Happy Hour menu for 4 bucks a piece which is nice.The drink special is prett good with most drafts at $3 These are great additions, not to mention the All Day Happy Hour on drafts for Tuesdays. Some of you may already know all about Mellow Mushrooms, but if you're new to the area and looking for a good pizza and plenty of beer choices, I'd give the Mellow Mushroom a try.
