If you know about the Carolina Forest area you have seen that there are a ton of new places opening up there. One such place is the addition of a Max & Erma's and since I hadn't been to one in a few years I figured I would have to stop in since I had heard they had a Happy Hour.  Max & Erma's is a national chain, but this is the first one in South Carolina. They aren't in the mold of a Fridays or Applebees, but a much nicer cleaned up version of those types of places. The Happy Hour is nice with good variety consisting of daily drink specials, draft beer discounts, $3 house liquors, and a $5 Happy Hour food menu. Max & Erma's will never be mistaken for your local bar, but it probably has the best Happy Hour out of most the major chains down here and is one of the better places to go to in the ever growing Carolina Forest area.
