Marvins really is neither of those two, granted they will have their fair share of tourists that are around the place, but Marvins has a solid local following especially in the fall and winter when most other beach bars will shut down for the season. I really enjoyed the great prices for a bar overlooking the ocean, it should definitely be its selling point. The menu is a basic bar menu with no real fine dining, but it serves its purpose. If you are in search of a beach bar then check out Marvins, it is the best option I have found yet.
