The offseason along the Grand Strand can be tough. It can even be tough at Broadway at the Beach on the weekdays when foot traffic can be scarce. Even the mega tourist trap of Margaritaville can feel the crunch in these winter months and that is why they have decided to start up a Happy Hour in the offseason. The drink specials are limited to a couple of beers, house wine and a certain type of margarita so it is somehwhat limited. The food specials are very good though as you can get more than half off on some items. The lively atmosphere, good bartenders and large bar make for a fun time. It just is not the place you will see many locals throughout the year. If you have not seen the giant swirling tornado that pours into the large blender then that is worth the visit alone just to say you have seen it once. I commend Margaritaville for getting a Happy Hour, it is not the greatest but there are plenty of nice deals that you can get.
