Longbeards Bar & Grill is another addition to the back end of the Carolina Forest/River Oaks area. It is hidden away behind the new Food Lion off of Carolina Forest Blvd. I would suggest you make the effort in finding Longbeards now before word gets out and this place gets swamped. It is a brand new building with a hunting lodge, log cabin feel to it. There is a large dining area, along with a long bar and outdoor seating for when spring and summer hit. The best part is that Happy Hour applies no matter where you sit. They have good specials, with dollar off on all beers, and a nice draft selection, but newest addition id that all liquors including top shelf are only $3.50. The food is really good and I'm a favorite of the pork wings and I will definitely have them again. There are numerous items discounted foodwise, so the selection all around is nothing to sneeze at. Also at Longbeards all the people are very welcoming from the bartender to the owner. This is a definite place I will be frequenting again, and I suggest you all check it out as well.
