I recently had a old high school friend come visit me and decided to grab an oceanfront room during the days he was coming down. I found a great rate at the Captains Quarters Resort. The Resort is under a renovation and is getting a complete renovation and was well worth the great price. I had known before that there was a bowling alley within the resort, but had never been to it. I checked it out on my stay and lets just say, the bowling alley has yet to be renovated and some of the lanes need a good update to them. Within the alley though is the bar called Level 6. I was glad to find out they had a Happy Hour and that it extended until 8pm. There is nothing that will blow your socks off for Happy Hour, but they have some ok deals with cheap can prices and a good price for house liquor. The place even gets a few locals on the weekend nights. The food menu was minimal and was nothing terribly exciting, but it was all at a low price, so there was no real reason to complain. Level 6 has a nice looking bar and nice people that work there so in all, it's a good place to grab a quick drink amongst the hotel bars.
