Many times when I am searching for Happy Hours I will just jump in the car and drive around the Grand Strand and just look for signs of a bar I haven't gone to yet. The hotel bars along Ocean Boulevard is something that I have yet to fully check out. It is hard keeping up with these bars too as I had been to the bar inside the Landmark Resort before, but it had changed the name since my last visit and is now called Latitudes. The space has been opened up some more, but the small and sometimes cramped bar still remains that only offers up a handful of seats. If you are lucky enough to get a spot you can enjoy a really good Happy Hour that gets you some nice drink specials and an expanded Happy Hour food menu. Latitudes does have some of the nicest bartenders including Marek who has been at the Landmark for over a decade. Latitudes may not appeal to everyone since it is in a a resort, but it is one of the better hotel bars/restaurants you can find along the south end of Myrtle Beach.
