Many times when I am searching for Happy Hours I will just jump in the car and drive around the Grand Strand and just look for signs of a bar I haven't gone to yet. The hotel bars along Ocean Boulevard is something that I haven't fully checked out yet so I stumbled acorss the Landmark Resourt on the south end of Myrtle Beach. Inside of the Landmark is a bar called The Pub, not exactly the most original name. My expectations weren't too high because most hotel bars are fairly expensive, but The Pub had some prices that are very good deals. The food was also good as I went for the Club Sandwich and homemade chips which was inexspensive and quite good. The Happy Hour leaves a bit to be desired with only a quarter off on most of the drinks and only going until 6pm being a downer. The size of the bar is tiny with only about 6 seats, but Happy Hour applies to the whole place so that's an added bonus. If you plan on staying at the Landmark or any other hotel in the area, you can't go wrong with going to the Pub for a 5 dollar pitcher and some free food.
