If you are familiar with the sushi at Sugami, Soho, and the former Buddha Lounge then you may already know about Kona Steak & Seafood which all have the same owners. Unlike the other places, Kona has the hibachi grills as well if you like the live show. The bar is in the center of all the action and can feel a bit cramped with how it is position, but hat is made up for it with the good bartenders that they do have. If you are looking for Happy Hour beer specials well you might be out of luck unless you're a Bud Lt bottle drinker since that's the only thing on special. Liquor drinkers can rejoice with some good deals, especially on the $2 vodka. The Happy Hour food menu does provide some good variety with stuff you won't see everyday for Happy Hour like crab rangoons and lettuce wraps. Kona Steak & Seafood is very nice Japanese steakhouse that is one of the better options in the downtown Myrtle Beach area.
