I mean seriously? She didn't want the free advertising, so I left and vowed never to go back. Portside finally closed down and in its place is Jasper's Sports Grille who were nice enough to let me review the place. I'm glad I went back in because the people there are great and the prices are low. The Happy Hour has some good drink discounts and the appetizers are half off to provide a quick cheap snack. On the outside it looks like a small place, but once you step in it stretches a long way down with several TV's at the far end for your viewing pleasure. I'm extremely pleased Jasper's Sports Grille has taken over as it is one of my new favorite bars in Surfside and is worth a visit to help out some new local business owners.
