I'm almost complete with getting all the reviews down on Hwy 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. My most recent visit took me to Jackson's Inlet Bar & Grill which used to be the location of the old Backfinz. I was never in there when it was Backfinz, but I was told that there was a lot of work done in there to clean the place up. Jackson's is very much a locals bar as most everyone knew each other when I went in and that can be a bit intimidating at first, but once you get to know people you'll see it is a friendly place to hang out. The Happy Hour is minimal with the discount being on domestic bottles, eveything else comes at a cheap price so not much of a discount is needed. The menu is very small and on a dry erase board, but it is all very cheap, so not much to complain about there either. Murrells Inlet has a lot of local bars and you can add Jackon's Inlet Bar & Grill to the list of solid local spots to check out.
