Review

Ok, all of you should know all about Hooters and what they are and what the concept is. The Grand Strand area has two of them with one in Myrtle Beach around 38th Ave N and the other also in Myrtle, but closer to the Myrtle Beach Mall. The Hooters in front of the mall got a brand new redesign on the inside and outside. It makes the place look a lot better and it now has a large bar area with more TV's and more taps. Over the years Hooters has geared itself more towards a family friendly atmosphere and that shines through in the Grand Strand locations as the majority as you'll see lots of families making it seem more like an Applebees or TGIFridays with skimpier outfits. For the longest time Hooters didn't have a Happy Hour, so I didn't include them on the site. They now do, well it isn't much of a Happy Hour since the only deal is that all the liquors are 4 bucks. Don't get me wrong, that's a pretty good deal especially if you are drinking the high end stuff, but it would have been nice to see any beer specials. The food specials at night are quality after 10pm when you can get half off on most apps. Most of you probably already have an opinion of Hooters so what I sway will not affect your thinking, but it was nice to see another chain finally dip its toe in the Happy Hour pool.
