The Hideaway is a new bar that is located in the old spot of the New Orleans Connection and it is named very appropriately since it is in the business district of North Myrtle Beach. The Hideaway is the ultimate locals bar, as I don't think I have ever seen a non-local in their the couple of times I have stopped by. The Hideaway is doing ok for itself as it already has a good following during Happy Hour and the crowd can pick up even more at night with the local bands they bring in. As for Happy Hour, there isn't too much to write about with 50 cents off the beers and a decent price on house liquor. The best bargain is to go with the wings which are only a quarter a piece to go along with 35 cent peel & eat shrimp. If you're a North Myrtle local I think you should check this place out, as it may be a new place you will want to go to on your local bar rotation.
