I had heard about Habaneros for the longest time from a few people that they really enjoyed this Mexican restaurant down in Pawleys and it also had a decent Happy Hour. Most of those people lived on the south end of the Grand Strand, so they had more opportunities to check it out. After several years, I finally decided to go down for a review. The day I went was a bit of a downer since I had been told Habaneros had a great deck and it was great for HH, but the weather wasn't agreeing on my visit, so I was forced to sit inside. I also didn't realize the Happy Hour only went until 6pm and had gotten there around 6:30, so I missed out on any deals. What they do have when you get there are some fairly decent drink prices. There are no food specials except the dollar tacos on Monday, but the food is still reasonable priced and pretty good for Mexican fare. Habaneros is restricted some factors of a good Happy Hour experience, but when the situation is right you can definiteyy have a good time.
