Review

Gio's Italian Kitchen has been around for a little while in Pawleys Island. It used to be across the street from its current location with a smaller space, but now has newer, nicer and much larger area for its solid local base. It has changed ownership from the original core which has added nothing but rave reviews on the Italian fare. It is some of the best Italian food you will find along the south end of the Grand Strand. The pizza has been a hit with its new recipe, but there are no food specials as of yet for Happy Hour. There are some decent drink specials and the bar area can get packed on some of the busier nights. Really good Italian can be hard to come by, especially since there are not many options in Pawleys, but Gio's Italian Kitchen has become a very fine new restaurant to go to.
