I had passed Gilligan's Steamer & Raw Bar a few times before, but this time I couldn't pass it up for a review. Inside is a fairly newly built large restaurant with a smaller bar area off to the side. The menu is a bit unique as it comes in the form of a small newspaper and it has an array of menu items to choose from including all the usual raw bar selections. The Happy Hour has a small menu, to choose from and some discounts on the drinks with the big winner coming on the $2 import/premium drafts. They also run a free oyster roast on Saturdays that brings in a good crowd as they often times have a band out on the patio during the warmer months. It may be a bit hard for me to get down to Litchfield on a weekday for Happy Hour, but Gilligan's is most likely a place you want to add on your Happy Hour list if you're a south ender.
