Review

The Crown Reef Resort in the southern section of Myrtle Beach has always been a really nice place to stay. It has gone up another level recently with a bunch of renovations to make it one of the best family friendly resorts. The additions of a brand new water park and top notch arcade are all really nice. Crown Reef has also added an oceanfront bar called Loco Gecko. There is also a standalone Loco Gecko near the Captains Quarters Resort, but this Happy Hour does not apply for there. This Loco Gecko can be a little hard to find as it is on the lobby level floor of the second tower. The prices and deals are all very good especially since the place has a wonderful ocean view. Crown Reef Resort has molded itself into one of the best hotels in Myrtle Beach and the new Loco Gecko really adds to that fact.
