As is the case with many bars I go into these days The Gator Island Bar & Grill had new ownership on my most recent visit, so of course that means an all new Happy Hour. In this case this is a good thing as the Happy Hour is now even more solid than it used to be. They have a nice little Happy Hour menu and have some good to great specials like the $1.50 drafts. The atmosphere is good as there always seems to be a solid crowd with a quality staff. I don't go to Socastee too much, but when i do I try to stop by The Gator Island since it is one of the best bars in the area.
