You may already be familiar with Flip Flops Bar & Grill and not even know it. It used to be The Sand Bar for many years along Shore Dr. If you knew the Sand Bar then you knew how dumpy it was, well Flip Flops got a complete facelift from that, as they gutted the entire place and pretty much redid everything. Having essentially a brand new bar and being a few hundred feet away from the ocean is always an ideal atmosphere. The Happy Hour is pretty good with the $2 house liquors being the highlight. The menu is mainly your bar food that you will find at many other places with appetizers ringing in at 4 bucks at Happy Hour. If anything else you should go to Flip Flops just to see what they have done with the place.
