Review

It took well over a decade and a half, but Dick's Last Resort has finally decided to start a Happy Hour. I can understand why Dick's has never had a Happy hour in the past as the place is always packed in the spring and summer with tourists, so there was really no point in having one. If you are not familiar with Dick's last Resort, it is a large chain located mainly in tourists towns where the theme is that whoever is serving you mocks you and treats you like crap, but it is all in good fun. In the busy months there is usually a band on most nights and it is a pretty good time if you can handle being poked at a little bit. The prices are a bit steep for this theme restaurant, but you are paying for the experience and some pretty good food. There are some deals to be had though in the offseason with the newly implemented Happy Hour that is geared toward getting some locals in to enjoy the place as well. There are some $5 apps and some decent drink specials, but I usually go for the 32oz cans of Miller High Life because I am quite the beer connoisseur. I am glad to see Dick's Last Resort jump into the Happy Hour fray and while I was disappointed that it probably will not last year round, it is still worth going to if you have never been before.
