If you are from the Midwest or the Mid-Atlantic states then you might be familiar with Damon's Grill as a giant sports bar and that was what I was expecting once I went into the brand new location in North Myrtle Beach. I was surprised to see that the Damon's Grille's in the south are designed a bit differently as this location had a lot of similarities to Liberty Taproom. I thought it was a change for the good and was also pleased to see they had a good Happy Hour at Damon's. They have a good draft selection which is always going to catch my eye. The food is also very good especially with half price appetizers. Damon's is also known for their ribs, so those are worth a shot as well. The Damon's on the south end apparently has a different Happy Hour, so don't expect the same thing if you are stopping by down there. I would just stick with the new Damon's in North Myrtle Beach as it has great service, good food, and plenty of drink selections to make an ideal spot for Happy Hour.
