Review

A very popular bar in Surfside Beach that has been around for a few years is Dagwood's Deli and Sports Bar. I was surprised with myself that I had not gone to get a review as it is the same owners as Bumstead's Pub in Myrtle Beach, which I have very highly rated. The menus are very similar as are the good food and food specials. One thing this location doesn't have is the 100+ beer selection. That does not deter the locals though as I have never been to Dagwood's and it not be busy. The beer deals are decent with 50 cents off and a cheap house liquor at just $3. The place is pretty big with plenty of TV's making it a popular place for sporting events, but you might want to get there early if you want to get a seat at the bar. Dagwood's Deli & Bar provides many of the same qualities as Bumstead's and is easily one of the best bars along the South Strand.
