A very popular bar in Surfside Beach that's been around for a few years is Dagwood's Deli and Sports BAR. I was surprised with myself that I had not gone to get a review as it is the ssame owners as Bumstead's Pub in Myrtle Beach, which ihave very highly rated. The menus are very similar as ifs the good food and food specials. One thing this location doesn't have is the 100+ beer selection. That does not deter the locals though as I have never been to Dagwood's and it not be busy. The beer deals are decent with 50 cents oof and a cheap house liquor at just $3. The place is pretty big with plenty of TV's making it a popular place for sporting events, but you might want to get there early if you want to get a seat at the bar. Dagwood's Deli & Bar provides many of the same qualities as Bumstead's and is easily one of the best bars along the South Strand.
