It took quite some time for the Crooked Floor Tavern to open up in the former location in Murrells Inlet that used to be the Short Bar and K-Rae's before that. It was mainly because they stripped down the old location and essentially built a new restaurant. There are two bars at the Crooked Floor with the downstairs one giving you an option to sit inside or outside. The main attraction is the one of a kind for the South Strand bar on the rooftop bar that overlooks much of the Marshwalk. In addition to this cool new atmosphere is the good food and decent drink prices. While many people will still flock to the places across the street along the Marshwalk the Crooked Floor Tavern is a newer place you will want to try out if you are looking for something different in Murrells Inlet.
