I made that sometime that very day as I swung by the Crescent Moon Grill & Saloon to see what this new place was all about. It's a bar at the Backgate that used to be the 007 Night Club. The very welcoming owners have cleaned up the place a bit since the 007 days. There is the main bar area and there is the spacious game room with several pool tables in the back. The highlight about the Crescent Moon that jumps right out is the price, both during Happy Hour and regular hours. $1.50 beers is always nice and you can get a $2.50 import anytime. The liquor is very cheap with top shelf only ringing in at 4 bucks during Happy Hour. The food menu won't wow you or anything, but it has your basics on there and almost everything is 6 bucks or less. The owners of the Crescent Moon Grill & Saloon Chris and Melissa are really good people and are reason enough to try out a new local spot and if you need another reason, just look at the prices and that should be reason enough to stop in.
