Cooter's Backyard Bar & Grill is a solid new addition to Murrells Inlet in front of the defunct Inlet Square Mall. It is a converted Texas Roadhouse which you can still sorta sense when you walk inside. The thing that sets Cooter's apart from a converted chain restaurant is their massive 2 story deck/patio. It looks like a great place to go get a drink when the weather isn't too hot or cold. Cooter's seems to have a good local following large waves of people usually come in on most visits. The prices are pretty good and there are some killer specials like anything above house is only $4 at Happy Houjr and Wednesdays you can get wings or peel and eat shrimp for 20 cents. I'd tell you to go check out Cooter's if you live on the south end, but I'm betting many of you already have.
