Review

The Coliseum Family Sports Bar & Tavern is a relatively unknown place along Hwy 544 in the Big Block Junction. It should be more well known since it has really good made from scratch food at really low prices. While there are no food specials at Happy Hour, you can still get a good meal at a low price. All specialty burgers and chicken sandwiches are only $4.99. Many of the apps and entrees are all at reasonable prices with the home cheesesticks being the favorite amongst the locals. Unfortunately the Happy Hour is fairly standard with 50 cents off beers and a dollar off house wine and liquor. With the discount bringing house liquor to $2 I cannot complain too much. With the Coliseum being in the Socastee area, it usually is mainly all locals who do not smoke since it is smoke free. The Coliseum Family Sports Bar does not have any specials that will wow you , but with its low priced/high quality food and plenty of Tv's and sports memorabilia adorning the walls, it makes for a great place to catch a game and grab some food.
