I can't really call City Bar a bar since it is more of a fine dining place than anything else, and they have had roller coaster of a Happy Hour since my original review. They went from having no food specials, to having their whole bar menu at half off to now just having their single tastings at half price. Granted all of these small bites are all good stuff, but not the awesome deals they once had. On the bright side, the drink prices have stayed the same, all house liquors are only at $2.50 and they use a very high end house, in addition all house wines by the glass are at half off. City Bar also provides a nice relaxing atmosphere and isn't a place you'd want to go to if you're going to get too crazy. Am I disappointed in the changes City Bar has made? sure I am, but that doesn't mean I'll stop going, it's still a very high end place that anyone along the Grand Strand should check out.
