Review

Hotel bars can be fickle at times because they aren't exactly the biggest hot spots along the Grand Strand, so their hours can vary by the season. This is the case with Choo Choo Johnny's within the Patricia Grand Resort. Johnny's is a small bar adjacent to the Grand Central Station Restaurant which has some good food. I had tried to get a review of this place before, but they are open mainly in the spring and summer due to business being so slow during the fall and winter. The Happy Hour specials are ok, as you may think $1.50 draft is a good deal, but the 10oz glass sort of brings it down to size. The liquor discount is probably going to be your best bet if you are looking for the best deal. Choo Choo Johnny's is another hotel bar, but they at least get props for having a Happy Hour where a good amount of their counterparts do not along Ocean Blvd.
