Review

I have said several times before that there are certain bars or restaurants that may not have the best Happy Hour, but I would definitely recommend it in a different situation and Chive Blossom Cafe is one of those places. Chive Blossom has some of the best food you are going to find along the Grand Strand serving "southern eclectic" cuisine. It has a laid back atmosphere set in the much more calmer Pawleys Island and would be a great place to go to dinner on date night. The bar area is small with only around 9 to 10 seats, so this is not a raucous local bar atmosphere. The Happy Hour deals are decent with $2 off all liquors and wines by the glass and a dollar off all bottled beers. There are currently no Happy Hour food specials, but a bar menu is possibly in the works. Chive Blossom Cafe fits its niche really well and while that might not be for Happy Hour, it is on the short list of one of the better restaurants along the Grand Strand.
