I was very intrigued as to what the TBonz Dining Group was going to do with a new place called Capriz Italian Feast. I had heard it was going to be similar to Rioz which is the Brazilian Steakhouse where they bring around a ton of grilled meat and you stuff yourself until you almost explode. I didn't really see how that was going to translate to Italian food (polenta on a stick maybe?) but that is what they have at Capriz. Instead of the meats, they mainly bring numerous pasta dishes and included in this is the "salad bar" which isn't like a traditional salad bar, but has various hot and cold items.  I've found that the true deal is the $9.95 salad bar because many of the great items on the Happy Hour menu are on the salad bar, so instead of choosing one, why not just taste some of all of them? Anyways, there is a bar area that you can go to at Capriz if you don't want the full feast experience and want to try out the Happy Hour. The $2 house liquors was the really surprising part since a price like that on liquor is usually reserved for local dives and the like. Capriz Italian Feast has some good food, and if you're a pasta lover you'll have to go for the full meal, but if you're curious to check the place out for a lower price then stop by at Happy Hour for a cheap drink and a quick bite.
