Review

There really is a lack of English Pubs down here along the Grand Strand, and while the Old Bull & Bush Pub & Eatery will not make you feel like you are in the UK, the English owner is doing the best he can to with what he has to work with. His location along a frontage road on the bypass has housed many restaurants before with Mancusos and Fratellis coming to mind. I can tell the Bull & Bush will do much better than its predecessors as they already have a nice local following. The one thing that hampers the place is that the bar area is small, so it might be tough getting a seat at times. If you do get a seat you can enjoy some really good Happy Hour specials. They do not limit themselves to just English fare, as you can try a variety of cuisines for a good price at Happy Hour. There are some good drink specials with a nice selection of beers be it draft or bottle and having $2 house liquors doesn't hurt either. The Old Bull & Bush is very much a hidden gem and is worth searching out for if you want to try out a great new Happy Hour.
