Review

With Carolina Forest ever growing in population that has provided the opportunity for several restaurants to cash in on the area. Villa Mare at the back end of the Carolina Forest area tried and failed and that's where Brother Shuckers has succeeded so far in its place. With a name like Brother Shuckers I was expecting it to be a very casual oyster bar much like Biminis, but it is much like a nicer seafood restaurant. The locals seemed to not mind what type of place it is though since it actually took me three separate times to be able to get a seat for my Happy Hour review. The bar area is not too big, so that sort of complicated the problem, so this might be one of those places you will have to get to early if you want a good spot. Brother Shuckers is very enjoyable once you get in there though with good bartenders and some decent deals for Happy Hour. The food deals are a highlight with the fish tacos and hot crab dip being popular items, The Carolina Forest area can be very fickle at times, but it seems like Brother Shuckers is going to stick and be a solid option.
